Cortacésped robot TerraMow V600

I have a small yard, just 5500 square feet or somewhat less than .15 acres. I purchased my TerraMow V 1000 seven weeks ago and couldn't be more thrilled with its performance. It’s been the talk of the neighborhood.

We share lawn with three neighbors, and I used the mower's virtual fence facility to keep it out of their yards. I had to “birddog” the mapping and insert virtual fences as needed, but Harvey (as I call him) has been essentially trouble free since then. It runs 2.5 hours on a charge and takes about six hours to mow the entire lawn, which is divided into four zones. Harvey is slow but meticulous-- and I like meticulous!

Unlike other robotic mowers, this one has “real” artificial intelligence. It updates the map with every mowing and works to cut everything in our very complex yard—with mature trees, planting areas, roots and utility covers. Harvey mows almost as well as I could myself. With one exception, he mows the edges well. However, he will not go under low hanging branches.

I am 78 years old and have a newly diagnosed heart condition. My wife had decided that it was time for me to give up mowing the lawn. Rather than contracting with a lawn service firm, I bought Harvey. He is not only entertaining to watch but will also pay for himself by September. The cost savings are good but—as I see it—an even greater benefit of having a robotic mower is that your lawn always looks great. Harvey mows twice a week. When I was mowing, I mowed only once a week and the lawn looked pretty shaggy by the end of some weeks.

We are very active pensioners with an acre of garden, of which 100 square metres is laid to lawn. We chose “Erik” (a Terramow V600) because we were impressed with the new technology. The app is very simple to use and Erik’s garage was soon installed at the edge of our lawn. From the house a single press of the button on an iPhone and he’s away! He trundles out of his garage, having learned the layout of the lawn on his first outing, and 50 minutes later the lawn looks beautiful. All cutting adjustments can be made very simply on the app, and when he’s finished, he returns to his garage still carrying 67% charge. He even tells you via the app that he’s finished. Whilst he’s cutting you can follow his progress on your phone via the front facing camera in real time. We can almost hear him humming “tum te tum” as he pootles around the lawn.
In short he is magnificent.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem V600, man muss nicht viel machen. Ladestation aufstellen und an Strom anschließen das war es auch schon. Dann schickt man ihn auf seine erste Erkundungsrunde, er kartiert alles sehr gewissenhaft. Allerdings würde ich mir eine manuellen Eingriff wünschen, da unser Garten einige Ecken hat die nicht so einfach sind. Habe das Problem aber mit ganz kleinen No-Go-Zonen lösen können. Hätte ich gewusst wie einfach und Problemlos so ein Mähroboter einzurichten ist, hätte ich mir schon früher einen gekauft. Nun fährt er seine Runden und mäht das Graß ganz ohne das man selber bei der Hitze schwitzen muss.
